Jennifer F. Terry serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer at The Bancorp’s Wilmington, DE headquarters. She is responsible for the development and implementation of the strategic plan for all Human Resource (HR) functions. She leads objectives in implementing automation in all aspects of HR to ensure a superior employee and candidate experience. Jennifer’s HR technology, employee benefits, workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning have set the company’s HR strategic direction to increase overall operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Jennifer brings a successful track record spanning more than 25 years of Human Resources experience. Previously, she served as TD Bank’s Vice President, Senior Manager of HR Operations and Delivery. In this role, she set strategic direction, offered solutions to improve employee engagement, and maintained the company’s top position in the marketplace for overall employee experience by rolling out a competitive and successful paid parental leave employee benefits plan.
Jennifer has also held several senior management roles at Canon Business Process Services and Xerox focusing on various aspects of HR, such as Talent Acquisition & Management and Employee Benefits. Jennifer holds a BS in Accounting from Montclair State University and an MBA with a concentration in Leadership from Rosemont College. She has attained multiple professional recognitions and certifications, most recently the Strategic HR Leadership Certificate from Cornell University and the DiverseForce on Boards - Board Leadership & Governance Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
