Tom Woodward serves as State Market President for Pennsylvania in addition to his role as Credit Risk Executive working with Bank of America commercial banking teams located throughout the northeast region of the U.S.
Woodward began his career with Bank of America in 2006. Prior to that, he developed his banking career over a 25 year period working in various client management and commercial credit underwriting roles focusing on Middle Market, Large Corporate, Healthcare and Institutional clients headquartered in or doing business throughout eastern Pennsylvania.
As Market President for Bank of America, Woodward provides business integration, civic and philanthropic leadership for the Bank and its employees throughout Pennsylvania, with a primary focus on the Greater Philadelphia region. In guiding Bank of America’s regional leadership team, he works to strengthen communication and business integration across the company’s various lines of business in order to enhance overall impact and effectiveness in serving the local market. He also has direct oversight around Bank of America’s philanthropic investment and sponsorship assets throughout the region.
Woodward devotes a great deal of his free time to the arts, charitable and civic activities. He is former Chair of the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance and currently serves on the board of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts and chairs its Audit Committee. Tom also serves on the board of the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, as well as the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. He is also a trustee for the prestigious annual Philadelphia Award.
Woodward is a graduate of Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Economics. He also holds an MBA in Finance from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. A native of Chester County, Tom resides in Center City Philadelphia.
