THE KIMMEL CENTER PRESENTS ACAN INTIMATE EVENING WITH ANDERSON COOPER AND ANDY COHEN AT THE ACADEMY OF MUSIC APRIL 9, 2016

 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Philadelphia, PA, March 21, 2016) –– The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, in association with Icon Concerts, presents AC2, an intimate evening with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen, for one night only at the Academy of Music on Saturday, April 9, at 8:00 p.m. Join Cooper and Cohen for an unscripted, uncensored, and unforgettable night of conversation with these longtime friends. The journalist and late night talk show host interview each other and take questions from the audience, to present a live, interactive look behind the scenes of pop culture and world events.

“We are so excited to welcome these beloved personalities to the Academy of Music stage,” said Anne Ewers, President & CEO of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. “Fans are certainly in for an entertaining evening filled with hilarious banter and stories.”

Anderson Cooper is the multiple Emmy® Award-winning CNN anchor and correspondent for CBS’ “60 Minutes.” He has covered most major news events in the U.S. and around the world for the past 23 years, and his memoir, Dispatches from the Edge, topped the New York Times' Bestseller list. Andy Cohen is an Emmy® Award-winning host and Executive Producer of “Watch What Happens: Live,” Bravo’s late night, interactive talk show. Cohen is also the Executive Producer of the wildly popular “Real Housewives” series. Cohen has written two New York Times’ Bestsellers: Most Talkative: Stories from the Frontlines of Pop Culture, and The Andy Cohen Diaries: A Deep Look at a Shallow Year.

Group sales are available for groups of 10 or more and can be purchased by calling (215) 790-5883. VIP packages are available for $411 and include premium seating, a meet & greet opportunity, photo opp, and autographed gift.
