FOR SUMMER 2017
New Outdoor Pop-Up Bar with the Best Views and Delicious Cocktails Overlooking Broad Street
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Philadelphia, PA, June 5, 2017) –– The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, in association with Garces, announces a new pop-up bar on the second tier outdoor balcony of The Kimmel Center. The new Balcony Bar @ The Kimmel will be open for happy hour Wednesday through Friday throughout the summer beginning June 14. While the bar will serve as a Center City Sips location Wednesdays from 5–7 pm, it will be open for expanded happy hours Wednesdays from 7–9 pm, and Thursdays and Fridays from 5–9 pm (weather permitting). Admission is free and beer, wine, liquor, and select food by Garces will be available for happy hour prices (below).
Guests at the Balcony Bar @ The Kimmel will enjoy free WiFi, music, and the best happy hour above Broad Street. The Balcony Bar will be open throughout the season as the perfect complement whether attending the Kimmel Center’s robust summer programming including Fun Home, Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, and Wicked, or making the Balcony Bar their happy hour destination.
