RAIN: A TRIBUTE TO THE BEATLES

2016 National Tour Brings New Songs and

High-Definition Imagery to the Merriam Theater

February 11-14, 2016

“The next best thing to seeing The Beatles!” (The Denver Post)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Philadelphia, January 12, 2016) –– Experience an all new show when the internationally-acclaimed Beatles concert, RAIN: A Tribute to the Beatles, returns to Philadelphia at the Merriam Theater February 11 – 14, 2016, as part of Broadway Philadelphia. The new show features updated sets that include brand new LED, High-Definition screens, new multimedia content, and added songs as part of the 2016 Tour.

“We’re thrilled to welcome the return of RAIN to the Kimmel Center,” said Anne Ewers, President and CEO of the Kimmel Center. “From the group’s perfectly nuanced performance of timeless hits to the multi-media components, the whole experience transports audiences back in time for a fun evening of memorable classics.”

As “the next best thing to seeing The Beatles!” (Associated Press), RAIN performs the full range of The Beatles' discography live onstage, including the most complex and challenging songs that The Beatles themselves recorded in the studio but never performed for an audience. Together longer than The Beatles, RAIN has mastered every song, gesture, and nuance of the legendary foursome, delivering a totally live, note-for-note performance that’s as infectious as it is transporting.
