Academy of Music
At the top of our list of Instagrammable spots has to be our beloved Academy of Music. The Academy has been hosting live performances since 1857, making it the oldest opera house in the United States that is still used for its original purpose.
The atmosphere is glamorous and vibrant, and you will get to admire beauty both in the architecture and the performances onstage. If you are looking for a classy and elegant location to elevate your Instagram feed, the Academy of Music is the place for you.
Miller Theater
With its shining, brightly lit marquee, the outside of the Miller Theater is the quintessential theater spot both night and day. Built in 1918, the theater has undergone many upgrades, renovations, and name changes over the years and has had famous performers such as Helen Hayes, Katherine Hepburn, Sammy Davis Jr., John Barrymore, Angela Lansbury, and more grace its stage.

Located right on the Kimmel Cultural Campus, Volvér has no shortage of photo opportunities. Whether you are stopping in to enjoy a happy hour cocktail or a decadent dinner, the food and drinks at Volvér are picturesque enough to be worthy of a place in your next Instagram photo dump.

Hamilton Garden
Choose to host your wedding or other extra-special event at our rooftop Hamilton Garden with our iconic glass vaulted ceiling as your backdrop. This indoor venue provides a rooftop view, which makes it one of our top Instagrammable spots. Your special event should be memorable, and what better way to commemorate such an occasion than with photos to last a lifetime. The Kimmel Center Commonwealth Plaza
Perhaps our most versatile location for stocking up on social media content is our Plaza inside the Kimmel Center building. Stop in before or after a show or for a meal at Volvér, or come inside for a nice air-conditioned indoor experience with natural lighting that will make any picture pop.
While the Plaza is a gorgeous atmosphere for Instagram photos, it is so much more than that. Round up your friends for music and drinks at Balcony Bar @ the Kimmel, part of Center City SIPS. Every Wednesday in the summer, stop by to enjoy a live DJ and refreshing cocktails with iconic Broad Street views behind you – it all adds up to unbeatable selfies and a bomb new profile picture.
