The American Heart Association has designated February Heart Month – a month to raise public awareness of heart disease and strokes in women. Cardiovascular diseases are the No. 1 killers of men and women throughout the United States, and right here in Philadelphia heart disease and stroke are the 1st and 3rd leading causes of death. In the last five years, approximately 23,000 Philadelphians have died of these diseases.
We wanted to join in the conversation, so here at the Kimmel Center in February, we encourage our patrons to wear red to performances or anytime you visit our Campus! If you take a photo and post it using #KCGoesRed, you’ll be entered to win a pair of tickets to a show!
Plus, watch our building all month long to see us light up Broad Street in red!
