Holiday cheer is here with Ensemble Arts Philly shows! Look no further than Broad Street this season for great performances and events encompassing the joy of the season. See below for our holiday happenings to keep your spirit happy and bright all winter long.

The Philadelphia Orchestra presents a variety of exciting holiday events such as their beloved annual concerts like the Children’s Holiday Spectacular (December 16), The Glorious Sound of Christmas (December 14 – 16), and Messiah (December 20 – 21). Additionally, kick off the new year with them at their New Year’s Eve Celebration (December 31 at 7PM) and Lunar New Year (January 12 at 8PM).

Experience your favorite holiday films in an all-new way as The Philadelphia Orchestra plays the music LIVE on stage alongside the film! See Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas on November 24-26 and then come back to the North Pole for Elf™ In Concert on December 22 - 23.

Looking for a concert that is made just for Philadelphia? Create a new tradition with our inaugural A Very Philly Christmas concerts, December 1 – 23.  Join us for spectacular performances of sparkling holiday classics and pop favorites – featuring a cast of Broadway singers and dancers, Conductor Enrico-Lopez Yanez’s theatricality and flair, and The No Name Pops!

An annual tradition like no other - A Soulful Christmas returns for its 10th anniversary performance on December 12, honoring songwriter Carol Antrom as well as Creator and Director Dr. J. Donald Dumpson for his incredible 50 years in music ministry. This joyful event unites regional choirs for a night of soul-stirring gospel music, dancing, and heartfelt messages, culminating in the spectacular “Finale of Lights”.

Philadelphia Ballet once again brings George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker to the Academy of Music from December 8 – 30. Adding more magical performances than ever before, experience the treasured classic story brought to life in an unforgettable production you will not want to miss.

The star-stunning Cirque Dreams Holidaze (December 26 – 31) returns to Ensemble Arts Philly again this holiday season with its amazing sleight-of-hand jugglers, fire-catching acrobats, and so much more! This Broadway-style show brings the fantastic cast of holiday storybook characters to life with its whimsical and dazzling circus art. This family-friendly production is sure to put a twinkle in your eyes!
