1. What is your background in?
I am currently studying Marketing in school, with an anticipated graduation date of November 21st of this year. I have become interested in Marketing when I was approached to join a startup company that dealt with unique fishing tackle. It was both fun and challenging to learn our audience and market our products to them.
2. Why did you want to intern at the Kimmel Center?
I felt that I needed to propel my career with hands-on knowledge taught by professionals in their fields, especially because I will be graduating within the time-frame of my internship. I am extremely fond of the arts, which led me to look no further than The Kimmel Center. I couldn’t be any happier that I did.
3. What has been the most valuable learning you have gained so far?
I am currently hyper-focused on learning all of the ins-and-outs of Google, especially Google AdWords and Google Analytics. It is an extremely powerful tool if used properly, and I am determined to make campaigns for the Kimmel Center that will be most efficient and beneficial to the company.
4. What has been your favorite moment so far?
Hearing Sophia, my manager, say that she wants to build a 4 foot birthday card for an organ and sing happy birthday to it!
5. Tell us 3 fun facts about yourself!
- I played ice hockey for 8 years.
- I have seen The Dave Matthews band exactly 90 times to this date.
- Prior to my internship, I worked in a renewable energy plant, turning trash in to electricity.
