Quick Bites Near the Kimmel Cultural Campus

Are you joining us at the Kimmel Cultural Campus to experience one of our breathtaking performances? Well, you can’t truly enjoy it with an empty stomach. Luckily, there are many quick dining options nearby with such variety, there’s an option that will fill any craving.

Monk’s Café – 2 blocks west on 264 South 16th Street

Want to grab drinks with friends, but still get something to eat? Monk’s Café serves world-class beers, carrying 25 beers on tap and over 200 bottles. They also offer fine wines and a full cocktail bar. And if you’re in need of something to eat, try some of the Belgian-inspired dishes off their menu.

Tacodelphia – 1 block south at 427 South Broad Street

It doesn’t have to be Tuesday for you to crave tacos. Tacodelphia, located right on Broad Street, offers authentic street style Mexican tacos with a wide variety of protein and toppings to make it your own. You can order online for pick up or just stop in for quick service!

Wishbone – 2 blocks east at 210 South 13th Street

If you have any picky eaters, chicken tenders are always the way to go as the ultimate crowd pleaser. Lucky for you, Wishbone offers some of the best fried chicken. Voted the Best Chicken Fingers in Philly in 2016, it will be the perfect stop to pair with your performance. With a wider menu offering sandwiches, salads, wings, and over 300 beers and ciders, every age will be satisfied.

Alice – 1 block west at 235 South 15th Street

Somedays you might be cutting it super close to get to your show, and you can hear a quick slice of pizza calling your name! Alice Pizza & Restaurant offers a variety of pizza options available in a pinch or a variety of other classic Italian dishes if you have time for a sit-down lunch or dinner. And to top it off, Alice serves up delicious gelato that you can grab a scoop of on your way out!

Real Food Eatery – 2 blocks west at 207 South 16th Street

Want a fast but health-minded meal? Real Food Eatery offers delicious food options with the highest quality ingredients to create bowls and plates of your choosing. With a multitude of options to customize your meal, there is something that will fit any of your dietary needs in a fast and convenient package.

HipCityVeg – Two locations within a few blocks at 121 South Broad Street or 127 South 18th Street

 

In search of fast vegan or vegetarian options? HipCityVeg is a fully vegan, plant-based restaurant that utilizes 100% organic ingredients. With vegan burgers, sandwiches, smoothies, delicious sweet potato fries, and more, you will find something you love and that meets your dietary needs!

Masala Kitchen – A short walk away at 1115 Walnut Street

You leave a show and are looking for a quick bite before heading home; head over to Masala Kitchen! Serving traditional Indian street food of kati rolls and biryanis until 12am Monday through Thursday, until 3:30 AM on Saturday, and until 11PM on Sunday, they will definitely be ready for you as the show comes to an end. This place is no fuss, but big flavor! And if you are seeing a show with our friends at the Forrest Theatre, it’s right across the street.

But, if you’re really in a rush, there are many well-known fast-food options such as Popeye’s, Wendy’s, Five Guys, Chipotle, CAVA, sweetgreen, and Shack Shack all nearby and within walking distances.
