Show Stoppers students gather at the Kimmel Center

Posted by:  Kimmel Center on October 16, 2013

Every week our Show Stoppers students gather at the Kimmel Center to learn, practice, and refine their theatrical stage skills in preparation for their Winter Revue

This exhilarating, free concert (December 13, 7pm, Perelman Theater) will feature more than 40 high school students performing a brand new show that blends all of your Broadway favorites to tell a NEW story – one that shares their love of musical theater as well as the impact the arts have on children’s lives and communities. Come out for a stellar evening of FREE performance and support our Show Stoppers stars!

See what they’re saying:

“I’m here every Tuesday afternoon and watching the chemistry between the students and the Teaching Artists is incredible! The talent of these students really lives up to the name “Show Stoppers.”

-Manisha Modi
Education Administrator at the Kimmel Center

“Watching these young performers shine gives me hope for my future as a music educator and for the future of music education”

-John Lewis
Show Stoppers Volunteer

“It’s an incredible experience working with kids with a wide range of ability and talent. It’s wonderful learning and experiencing the program with a group of students who are so enthusiastic about the art form. I feel honored to be a part of the artistic process”

- Matthew Fleisher
