The Kimmel Center is pleased to partner with many local and community organizations to provide access to unique Arts Education experiences for all of Philadelphia’s children.
The Kimmel Center Resident Companies offer a variety of educational and performance programs available for young children, students, and adults.
In partnership with Philadelphia’s Office of Arts, Culture & The Creative Economy, The Philadelphia Cultural Alliance and the School District of Philadelphia, the Kimmel Center is proud to present the Annual Arts Education Fair.
The Resident Companies of the Kimmel Center join together to honor teachers, principals, and teaching artists working on Philadelphia who provide access and opportunities in the arts to young people.
In partnership with The Philly POPS and the School District of Philadelphia, the festival presents a full-day of student performances and master classes.

Project 440’s College Fair for Musicians
Temple University Music Preparatory Division and the Kimmel Center partner to provide the Early Childhood Music Foundations Program.
The Kimmel Center is proud to sponsor The Philadelphia Independence Awards, one of three programs in the state to participate in The National High School Musical Theatre Awards® (the Jimmy Awards®).
As a nonprofit performing arts organization that relies heavily on ticket sales for support, the Kimmel Cultural Campus has been significantly impacted by the pandemic.

The Merck Arts Education Center (MAEC) provides arts education through a variety of learning styles and innovative technologies. Serving as a flexible arts resource for the Philadelphia community, MAEC promotes appreciation of the performing arts through diverse programming for children and adults.
Housed at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, MAEC fosters collaborations with its Resident Companies and cultural communities and acts as a bridge to developing future audiences and performers. Support for the Merck Arts Education Center is generously provided by Merck.
