Bio: James Ijames has appeared as an actor locally at the Arden Theatre, The Wilma Theater, The Philadelphia Theater Company and People's Light & Theatre. His play The Threshing Floor premiered at Mauckingbird Theatre Company. By and By received a staged reading with Azuka Theatre in 2009. Osiris:Redux was a part of the Hatchling Reading Series at People's Light & Theatre. James received the 2011 F. Otto Haas Award for an Emerging Artist. He has been awarded two Barrymore Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Play. In 2011 James received an Independence Foundation Fellowship in Performing Arts. James' play The Most Spectacularly Lamentable Trial of Miz Martha Washington was developed at PlayPenn in 2013. He resides in South Philadelphia.
