The Hailey Brinnel Quintet, made up of Philadelphia musicians Dan Monaghan, Joe Plowman, Silas Irvine, and Andrew Carson plays arrangements and original music strongly rooted in the Jazz tradition.
Hailey Brinnel is a trombonist, vocalist, and educator based in Philadelphia, PA. She was a finalist in the 2021 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition, and has performed around the world with artists such as The Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra, The Philly Pops, Sherrie Maricle and the DIVA Jazz Orchestra, Ingrid Jensen, and Anat Cohen.
Her debut album, I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles peaked at #13 on Amazon's Jazz New Release' chart, and #44 on the website's Jazz Best-Seller chart. Her sophomore album “Beautiful Tomorrow” will be released on March 17th, 2023.
She is currently on the faculty at The University of the Arts, an educational program coordinator for instrumental jazz at The Kimmel Center and works as a guest clinician to bring jazz education to classrooms throughout the city.
Brinnel is a B.A.C. Musical Instruments Performing Artist and a signed artist on the New York based record label Outside in Music.
