Worldtown Soundsystem is an eight-piece live band performing original compositions with a musical foundation in one of the world's most universal musical languages: House Music. For over a decade, this Philadelphia born high-voltage act has been fusing electronic dance music, global rhythms, and Philly soul into a uniquely energetic live experience sprinkled with influences from around the world.
Driven by the powerful vocals of rising star Zeek Burse, their song, "Freedom" is a tribute to the past, present, and future of Philly sound. The composition blends Worldtown’s signature celebratory electronic sound with classic tones and textures of Grammy winning string arranger Larry Gold and percussionist Pablo Batista.
