An All-Star Musical Tribute Honoring Stephen Schwartz

Be part of an unforgettable evening at the Kimmel Center as the inaugural Mazzoni Center Honors benefit pays tribute to legendary Tony, Grammy, and Academy Award-winning composer Stephen Schwartz with an all-star concert featuring songs from Wicked, Godspell, Pippin, Prince of Egypt, and more.  Join Stephen Schwartz as part of the audience as a spectacular line-up of award-winning Broadway and pop music stars perform songs from his incredible musical catalog.  Stephen will be presented with a special award in recognition of his musical and humanitarian impact.

All proceeds from the evening will benefit Mazzoni Center, the premiere comprehensive health and wellness center serving Philadelphia’s LGBTQ community.

While the main event begins at 7:30 pm in Verizon Hall, the fun will begin even earlier, as we celebrate the art of drag with our Gilead Mazzoni Center Honors Pre-Show on the Commonwealth Plaza Stage in the Kimmel Center lobby beginning at 6:15 pm.  Our friends Brittany Lynn, Phoebe Manntrappe, and Nurse Morgan will be on hand to perform songs by Stephen Schwartz and several other artists featured in our Mazzoni Center Honors line-up. Please come out early and support these local drag performers ahead of the start of the concert.
