Parking
Parking may be pre-purchased online for either the Kimmel Center Garage or the Avenue of the Arts Garage by selecting a link below. Pre-paid parking is available most weekends and weekday evenings. Pre-paid parking is not available on all performance dates. (Note: parking purchase pages may take extra time to load for all available parking dates)
The entrance to the Kimmel Center Parking Garage is located just south of the Broad Street entrance to the building and can be accessed only by cars traveling south on Broad Street.

Pay Stations at the Kimmel Parking Garage
The automated parking system at the Kimmel Center garage is similar to the PPA street parking pay stations that you can find on many streets throughout the city. The automated system streamlines the parking experience by reducing the bottleneck upon entering. Visitors must enter their vehicle license plate number at the pay stations located in each of the three elevator lobbies in the garage. Payment can be made by credit or debit card only.
Kimmel Center Garage Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 6am - 11pm
- Saturday and Sunday, 8am - 11pm
- Attendant available daily 7am-11pm
Kimmel Center Garage Prepaid Parking Times:
- Monday through Friday, 4pm - 1am
- Saturday and Sunday Matinees, 11am - 6pm
- Saturday and Sunday Evening Performances, 4pm - 1am

Accessible Parking
The accessible parking spaces in the Kimmel Garage are reserved for the exclusive use of those persons with disabilities who require the features of ADA compliant parking. Utilization of these designated parking spaces requires the display of an official, government-issued parking hang tag or government-approved vehicle license plates. All those in violation of these regulations are subject to citation and towing in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.

Driving Directions
From points North: Take either I-76 or I-95 to I-676 (Vine Street Expressway) and exit at Broad Street (Central Philadelphia). Follow Broad Street around City Hall, continuing south. The Kimmel Center is on the southwest corner of Broad & Spruce Streets.
From points South: Take I-95 North to Exit #17 (formerly exit #14), Broad Street. Continue north on Broad approximately 3 miles. The Kimmel Center is at the corner of Broad & Spruce Streets.
From points East: Take I-676 (Vine Street Expressway) and exit at Broad Street (Central Philadelphia). Follow Broad Street around City Hall, continuing south. The Kimmel Center is on the southwest corner of Broad & Spruce Streets.
From points West: Take I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) to I-676 (Vine Street Expressway) and exit at Broad Street (Central Philadelphia). Follow Broad Street around City Hall, continuing south. The Kimmel Center is on the southwest corner of Broad & Spruce Streets.
From Ben Franklin Bridge: Take first exit on 8th Street to Spruce Street. Continue west to Broad Street.
From Walt Whitman Bridge: Take Broad Street exit. Follow north approximately 3 miles.
Public Transportation
SEPTA: the Commuter's Choice
Subway:
The Broad Street Subway's Walnut-Locust Station is located two blocks from The Kimmel Center. Market-Frankford and Subway Surface riders should make a free transfer to the Broad Street Line at the 15th & Market stop.
Regional Rail:
All Regional Rail Lines stop at Suburban Station, where riders can transfer to the nearby Broad Street Line at City Hall Station or take the 15-minute walk to The Kimmel Center.
Bus:
Routes 4, 27, and 32 travel along Broad Street. Route 12 runs east-west along Locust and Walnut Streets. Other nearby buses include Routes 9, 21, and 42, which run along Walnut and Chestnut Streets.
Bus Routes 9, 21, 32, and 42 are handicapped accessible.
New Jersey's PATCO High Speed Line:
Take the High Speed Line toward Philadelphia, to the last, or 15th Street stop. Take the stairs to street level, where you will surface at 15th & Locust Streets. From there, walk one block south on 15th Street to Spruce Street. Turn left and find the entrance to The Kimmel Center a half block up on your right.
