FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Philadelphia, PA, February 3, 2020) –The Kimmel Center Cultural Campus and The Shubert Organization will present the Philadelphia premiere of Tony Award-winning Dear Evan Hansen at the Forrest Theatre on Tuesday, April 7, 2020; the engagement will run through Sunday, May 3, 2020.
For over the past three years, Dear Evan Hansen has had the support of passionate fans on Broadway. The show is thrilled to make new connections in dozens of cities as they tour across North America. As the Philadelphia engagement approaches, the show is calling on Philadelphians to be a part of their exciting new journey. Dear Evan Hansen fans are invited to follow this link and provide a photo so that they can be included in the artwork mosaic for the Philadelphia performance.
The winner of six 2017 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Dear Evan Hansen features a book by Tony Award-winner Steven Levenson, a score by Grammy®, Tony® and Academy Award® winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land, The Greatest Showman), and direction by four-time Tony Award nominee Michael Greif (Rent, Next to Normal).
