NICK JR. LIVE! “MOVE TO THE MUSIC”
AT THE ACADEMY OF MUSIC

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Philadelphia, PA, December 19, 2019) – The Kimmel Center Cultural Campus, in association with Nickelodeon and VStar Entertainment Group, invites audiences to sing, dance, clap, cheer, and move to the music when the unforgettable musical spectacular, Nick Jr. Live! “Move to the Music,” hits the Academy of Music stage on Saturday, February 8, 2020 and Sunday, February 9, 2020. For the first time ever live on stage, the new musical brings together the beloved characters from popular preschool animated series Bubble Guppies, PAW Patrol, Dora The Explorer, Shimmer and Shine, Blue’s Clues and You, Blaze and the Monster Machines, and Top Wing. This musical extravaganza is perfect for the whole family!
Nick Jr. Live! “Move to the Music” follows Dora and her PAW Patrol co-hosts, Marshall and Rubble, as they team up with their Nick Jr. friends, in a one-of-a-kind adventure. The show will transport audiences to familiar Nick Jr. locations, including Bubbletucky and Zahramay Falls, and includes two acts, along with an intermission. The unforgettable musical adventure, produced by Nickelodeon and VStar Entertainment Group, will feature live appearances, special on-screen guests and audience participation.
“While curating the Family Discovery Series, we select shows that entertain and educate, with the intent of cultivating arts fans from a young age,” said Anne Ewers, President and CEO of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. “Through upcoming presentations like Nick Jr. Live, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, and Charlie Brown Christmas Live on Stage, characters that some of us have only experienced on a screen are brought to life onstage – sparking joy, imagination, creativity, and happiness in our littlest arts lovers through our seasoned theater-goers.”
