Miller Theater (Formerly Merriam Theater)

The Merriam Theater sits in the center of the Kimmel Center Cultural Campus along Broad Street.

Another historical and famous venue, the Merriam Theater adds an elegant touch to any performance.

The Merriam Theater seats up to 1,840 people and is ideal for large events.

A stage crew prepares for a unique performance by setting up a screen and the band's instruments.

Katherine Hepburn performed in this elegant proscenium theater. So did Sir Lawrence Olivier, Helen Hayes, Sammy Davis, Jr. and Al Jolson, and many an unnamed burlesque dancers. Opened in 1918 as the Schubert Theater, it’s ideal for your next show whether it's theater, rock, or comedy.
