Pipe Organ contribution recognition

Posted by:  Kimmel Center on March 08, 2012

In taking an entirely new and innovative approach to Pipe Organ contribution recognition, last year we established a student design competition.  We reached out to the University of the Arts and Moore College of Art & Design to involve students in Sculpture and 3-Dimensional Design studies.

We are excited to announce that the newly commissioned sculpture to recognize contributors to the Fred J. Cooper Memorial Organ will be unveiled on Saturday, March 10, 2012.

The event will take place on Commonwealth Plaza of the Kimmel Center at 2:00pm prior to the 3:00pm concert Kimmel Center Presents Canadian Brass with Jeffrey Brillhart, organ. You are invited to join in the free unveiling.
